Hello valued xACS players,

The Pet system is a pet you can own in the game that offers both visual and a few extra features.

How can I get one?

You can obtain a Pet by completing the quest from [Familar Tamer] Kate (252,445) NPC in Moradon.

The quest will ask you to kill 10 Worms, Bandicoots, Kecoons, and Bulcans. In return, you will receive 1 Kaul's Egg (the material needed to create a Pet) and 5 Familiar Summon (the material needed to spawn your Pet).

How to turn a Kaul's Egg into a Pet?

You can turn the Kaul's Egg material you obtained by completing the quest into a Pet from the NPC [Familar Tamer] Kate (252,445) in Moradon.

Screenshot-88.png

Right-click on an NPC and select "Familiar Hatching and Transform." A menu will appear, and a tab will open on the right side of your screen, as shown below. After placing the Kaul's Egg in this tab, you can complete the pet creation process by entering the desired name in the "Name your Familiar please" field.

How can I use the Pet I created?

You can spawn your created Pet by placing it in the "Auto Loot" slot in your Inventory, then placing the Familiar Summon item you received from the quest in your skill bar, and pressing it.

Pets have HP/MP, Attack/Defense/Resistance, and Exp/Lv values, just like in-game characters. To see these details, simply press "ALT + P" on your keyboard after spawning your pet. The Pet Info screen will open on the right side of the screen, as shown in the image below.

Pet Info Tabs:

You can view your pet's HP, MP, Level, Attack, Defense, Resist, EXP, and Energy from the Status tab.
You can view the items you've used on your pet and feed them.
You can view your pet's active skills based on their level from the Skill tab and use them by adding them to the pet skill bar.

NOTE: Pets also need energy to survive. The Stomach you see on the Pet Info screen indicates your pet's energy level. If it reaches 0/100, the pet will die and you will need to respawn.

How do I feed my pet?

Right-click on the [Familar Tamer] Kate (252,445) NPC in Moradon, click the "Familiar random" button in the menu that appears, and enter the Pet Store to purchase food for your pet.

To manually feed:

Press "ALT + P" to open the Pet Info screen, then switch to the Item tab, place the purchased food in the Feeding slot, and confirm.

To automatically feed:

To automatically feed, simply select the "Automatically feed when Familiar's hunger level is 5" option in the Other tab of the Genie menu. (You must have food in your inventory.)

NOTE: For the automatic feeding system to work, your pet must be at least level 5.

What features does the pet system offer?

It also provides you with additional buffs and defenses. (You can unlock skills as you level up.)
The maximum level for a pet is 60.

The pet system operates in three different modes:

To switch between modes, simply use the skill listed first on the Pet Skill Bar.
(You can use Pet Skills with your mouse or hold down ALT to use them as your own skill bar.)

Attack Mode
In this mode, you can attack the creature with your pet if you wish.
2q.png

Defense Mode
In this mode, you can use your pet to attack mobs while tanking the creature in defensive mode.
3q.png

Loot Mode
In this mode, you can have your pet collect your items from long distances without any problems.

NOTE: To activate Loot Mode, you must purchase an Automatic Pet Looting Voucher from PUS.

How to use an Automatic Pet Looting Voucher?

First, go to the Specials (TL Only) tab in the Power Up Store (PUS) and purchase an Automatic Pet Looting Voucher.
(Automatic Pet Looting lasts 30 days.)

After breaking the Automatic Pet Looting Voucher you received by right-clicking on it, placing it in the item tab on the Pet Info screen, and then placing your pet in Loot Mode, you'll need to get it into Loot Mode.

You cannot use the Pet Loot feature on Moradon, Colony Zone, or Draki.

Pets can be traded.

Automatic Loot items can be removed just as they are equipped on a pet.

If you trade a pet while it has an Automatic Loot item on it, the Automatic Loot will be permanently removed from the pet items.

The ideal leveling ranges for pets are:

Levels 1-20 can be leveled on the Moradon map, and levels 20-00 can be leveled on the Luferson/El Morad Castle/Eslant maps.

NOTE: It does not affect the EXP earned by Premium Pets you acquire for your character; it only increases the EXP earned by the Pets during the EXP Event.

Pet Transformation System

With the Pet Transformation System, you can use Pet Transformation Scrolls purchased from PUS to give your pet a special appearance and receive an additional 20% item drop increase in the boxes your pet collects.

There are 11 Pet Transformation Scrolls in the Transformation Scrolls menu in the Power Up Store (PUS). You can give your pet a special appearance by purchasing any Transformation Scroll you like.

Screenshot-96.png

How to use the Pet Transformation Scroll?

Familiar Tamer Kate
(252,445) in Moradon will open a menu. Click the "Familiar Hatching and Transform" button. A tab will open on the right side of your screen, as seen below. You can use this tab by right-clicking your Kaul (Pet) and the Pet Transformation Scroll you are wearing. Confirm the action and use it.

kaul4.gif

Once the Transformation process is completed, your Pet's appearance will change and an Extra +20% Item Drop feature will be added.

Screenshot-98.png

NOTE
- Pet Loot Mode is only available on EMC, LFC, and Eslant maps.

- Equipping pets with Transformation Scrolls grants a 20% Item Drop bonus directly. You can take advantage of this feature without equipping an Auto Loot item on your pet or on maps where Loot mode is not active.
(You must manually collect the boxes.)

- Equipping and equipping a Pet TS grants a 20% Item Drop bonus directly, but it is attached to the Pet Auto Loot section. Therefore, Pet Auto Loot is required.

- If your pets are not collecting boxes when you first spawn them and they are in Loot mode, you must change Mode and put them back into Loot mode.

(Relog only - Pets actively collecting boxes will not experience this issue if your pets die.)
